Forti was a team that competed in the Formula One career from 1995 to 1996. Due to financial issues, they lost their place on the '97 grid to Stewart Grand Prix. Their only drivers were Milos Ancevski and Joel Rautavaara.
Seasons[]
1995[]
The team signed 2 drivers from Sauber, who were looking for success since 1993. And they found it. For the first time ever with Milos and Joel being teammates, they achieved a double points finish in the season opener. And, also for the first time, both cars managed to finish the race. The 2nd race was also good, with Joel securing P3 in quali (to retire from an engine failure later in the race), while Milos scored his first ever podium in F1, bringing 4 more points to the Italian team. In the 3rd race, the team continued to score points, at least with Joel, who was just 4 tenths off his maiden podium, and the 2nd podium for the team, while his teammate, after a disaster in quali, retired on the 2nd lap with a puncture. In the next race, it looks like Forti's streak of points is over, as both Fortis qualify on the last 2 rows of the grid, with Milos being just in front of his teammate.
