Ligier was a team that competed in the Formula One career from 1988 to 1996. After that it was sold to Alain Prost, who run the team as Prost Grand Prix.

1988[]
1991[]
The team did not competed in the 1991 season because there was no spaces left in the entry list.
1992[]
After not being on the 1991 entry list, the team returned back to the 1992 season. The new drivers Xen Foro and Steven Poirier joined the team.
1993[]
After Poirier left the team to drive for Benetton, Greek driver Manolis Sigoulakis joined the team.
At the end of the season, Xen Foro left the team and signed for Benetton.
1994[]
Guy Ligier kept Sigoulakis for the team. Indonesian driver Davin Rizuki joined the team after leaving Footwork, but he lost the seat after the Monaco race. He was replaced by James McNamara for the rest of the season.
1995[]
Both of these drivers, Sigoulakis and McNamara, left the team and signed for Sauber and Minardi. Lotus driver Sebastien Levret and Footwork driver Cristiano Mauri joined the team. However, Levret lost the seat even before the season started and was replaced by Andy Black.
1996[]
Before the season, Mauri left Ligier and signed a contract with Jordan as Jimmy Laad's replacement. Black signed a contract with the team.
