Rami Saidy is a British racing driver and RaceDepartment member. Saidy raced for Ligier in the 1988 season and is currently racing for Tyrrell having raced for Ferrari from 1991 until the end of last season. His current best finish is 1st in the 1988 British Grand Prix and 2nd in the Monaco Grand Prix.
In the British Grand Prix that Year, he took Pole Position and his First Race Win in Style, winning 20 seconds off of his nearest rival Omer Said of Lotus.
After the Race, he claimed huge plaudits and was interesting various teams, eventually signing a big deal with Scuderia Ferrari, who he joined in the 1991 Season.
Now he looks to recapture some of his excellent previous form with only his 3rd team in his career, Mild Seven Benetton Renault
